Listed below are the literacy trainings that are available. You may contact me to schedule a training at your school. Trainings are also available during the summer.

DIBELS Overview-DIBELS is an early literacy screener for students in K-3.  This overview looks at the “Big Ideas” in reading and also looks at the importance of early screening for students and the impact it can make upon a student’s ability to read. This overview lasts for an hour.

DIBELS Training-This is the in-depth training to become a DIBELS assessor. Each person trained will learn how to give each subtest of the DIBELS assessment and also look at ways to implement DIBELS within the school. This training lasts for one and a half days. 

Interpreting DIBELS Data- This workshop has been developed to use with classroom teachers after they have DIBEL’d their students and now need  how to interpret the DIBELS information.  There is a separate training for K,1, and 2 teachers.  Each training lasts for 1.5 hours.
