Sensory Interventions

If sensory opportunities are available and incorporated into planned activities children with ASD often show a reduction in anxiety and are more successful in the classroom. Some examples of sensory educational interventions include taking walks, chewing ice, jumping on trampolines and playing with resistive materials such as therapy balls.
